Teachers
Meet Ms. Alejandra
Hello, families! My name is Alejandra Vega, and I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida. I am passionate about helping scholars learn, grow, and become confident, capable leaders. I love creating hands-on, engaging learning experiences that foster critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and a lifelong love of learning.

Before joining Playful Scholars Academy, I gained valuable experience as a substitute teacher across all elementary grade levels. This opportunity strengthened my ability to adapt to diverse classroom environments, mee the individual needs of scholars, and deepen my passion for teaching. During my senior year at UCF, I completed two teaching internships that further developed my skills as an educator. One of those internships was under the mentorship of Mrs. Sharon Matthews, whose educational philosophy and student-centered approach continue to inspire my own teaching practices.

I am excited to begin my second-year t Playful Scholars Academy and look forward to continuing to build meaningful relationships with our scholars and their families. My goal is to create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment where every scholar feels valued, challenged, and empowered to reach their full potential.
