At Playful Scholars Academy, we believe every scholar deserves access to high-quality, hands-on learning experiences that inspire creativity, curiosity, and confidence.  To help make our programs affordable for all families, we are a direct provider for Step Up for Students Scholarships, including the Personalized Education Program (PEP) and Unique Abilities (UA) scholarships.

How Playful Scholars Academy Supports Families

We are happy to guide families through the application process and answer questions about how scholarships can be used toward Playful Scholars Academy programs. 
 
We will gladly assist Direct Pay families by developing a customized payment plan that fits their budget and scheduling needs.  Our goal is to make high-quality STEM education accessible and manageable for every family.

We are proud to be an approved provider with Step Up for Students.  We accept both the PEP and UA scholarships.

Scholarships

Step Up for Students: Personalized Education Program (PEP)
Application Window: February 1 - April 30
The PEP Scholarship offers flexible education funding for Florida families who are NOT enrolled full-time in public or private school.  It's designed to support families who chooses to homeschool or enroll in home education programs like Playful Scholars Academy.
Eligibility:
Students must be Florida residents who are not enrolled in a public or private school full-time.  There are no income requirements for this scholarship.

Direct Pay

For families who prefer to handle tuition payments independently or waiting for scholarship funding to be released, Playful Scholars Academy offers a Direct Pay Option.  This allows parents to secure their scholar's spot and make payments directly while Step Up for Students process or distributes scholarship funds.  Once scholarship payments are received, families can submit receipts for reimbursement.  
Step Up for Students:
Unique Abilities (UA)
Application Window: February 1 - November 15
The UA Scholarship provides funding for students with special needs to access educational options that best fit their learning style.
Eligibility:
Students must be Florida residents between ages 3-22 with an eligible diagnosis or qualifying conditions listed by Step Up for Students.
